Eleven days ago, the softball team dropped a doubleheader to the College of Charleston, giving them 4 losses in 5 games. Candidly, at that moment, I was VERY, VERY worried about the season.

Now it's 10 days later and the Hokies just won their sixth game in a row - all ACC Conference games. Over those 6 games, the Hokies have scored 57 runs on 63 hits. Granted Pitt and BC may not be the best pitching that we've faced all year, but averaging 9.5 runs/game against even the Little Sisters of the Poor is a good days work. Not to mention that both Pitt and BC came to Blacksburg riding hot streaks.

It's been a fun 10 days. Let's hope the ladies can keep this up this pace.
